What REMUDA means

Pull back the waste.
Uncover what creates value.

RE

rethink, return, reduce.

MUDA

Japanese term from Lean management for waste.

REMUDA is quality management that systematically removes what doesn't hold up - and surfaces what actually creates value. Not a binder system. A tool that works in daily life.

Service

Who it's for

Companies
that want to shape quality effectively.

REMUDA works mainly with companies that see quality management not just as a requirement, but as a meaningful contribution to how the business develops. The focus is on companies with up to around 50 employees - depending on the complexity of the core business and the specific demands. What matters is not size alone, but the willingness to shape structures so that quality provides orientation, supports growth, and actually has an effect in daily work.

Quality shows up when someone takes a close look - and has the courage to change what really matters.
Dr. Robert Salchner, REMUDA
The person behind REMUDA

A chemist with a clear passion
for effective quality management.

Already during my studies and my doctorate, I learned to work analytically, to grasp relationships systematically and to think in processes - even if I wasn't yet aware at the time how closely that way of thinking is already tied to quality management. In my career I have predominantly held dual roles in which quality management was combined with chemistry as well as research and development. It is precisely that combination which has continually deepened my understanding of QM and reinforced my conviction that effective quality management is not an end in itself, but has to make a measurable contribution to reaching the goal.

One principle has guided me throughout: I do nothing that does not bring me closer to the goal. That stance shapes not only my professional work, but also the way I approach decisions, developments and improvements in general. The result is a way of working that is efficient, effective and consistently goal-oriented.
